I know this has been on Pinterest for yonks, i've had it liked and pinned to my unicorn board for I don't know how long but I have never tried it, we were never big fans of white chocolate ... but we are now.
My daughters friend was leaving school and she wanted to get her a gift. Her friends favourite treat was white chocolate, which is not particularly exciting (light bulb moment) until you turn it into U N I C O R N C H O C O L A T E it is ridiculously easy, takes about 15 minutes to make, and the finished product looks a-maze-ing. It is the perfect gift for any chocolate eating, unicorn lover.
There are no measurements, you make in the quantities that you need and how you want it to look.
You will need ...
WHITE CHOCOLATE (we used a 200g bar)
FOOD COLOURING (we used 4 colours)
100'S AND 1000'S
You will also need ... Baking paper, a small pan, a bowl to fit the pan, some smaller bowls, a baking tray or plastic tub, a cocktail stick or skewer, and spoons for mixing
Break the chocolate into a (tin, glass or ceramic) bowl that will fit over your smallest saucepan, half fill the saucepan with hot water and put it on a low heat, place the bowl on top and stir until all of the chocolate has melted.
Get some smaller bowls; you need the same amount of bowls as the colours you are going to use. Split the melted chocolate evenly into the small bowls and add food colouring to each bowl, then mix with a spoon until you get your desired shade.
Now you need a baking tray or a flat bottomed plastic tub, line the tray/tub with baking paper and pour the chocolate mixture on to the paper so you have a different colour in each corner.
With a skewer or cocktail stick swirl the colours into each other but don't totally mix them
Add sprinkles; 100's and 1000's, stars, and edible glitter
Place in the fridge until the chocolate is hard.
Remove from the fridge and break into edible pieces.
Voila! Your unicorn chocolate is complete and ready to present to your favourite white chocolate eating, unicorn lover. Or to serve at a unicorn party ... Enjoy!
